Wedding Fairs and COVID-19
With events having been postponed until at least 1st October, you may have seen that we unfortunately had to cancel two of our Autumn wedding fairs in Norwich. The government advice left us with no choice but to cancel both The Stunning Autumn Wedding Fair at The Forum and The Sprowston Manor Hotel Wedding Fair which were scheduled for September.
Having liaised with both venues, we have decided to postpone events there until 2021. We believe that if we were to reschedule for later in the year, we could be faced with the same issues of the events not being able to go ahead. We are also aware that couples may not be ready to attend events as yet. Would you want to attend an indoor event with hundreds of people?
It has certainly been a trying time for both the wedding and events industry. Our thoughts go out to all of you brides and grooms out there who have been forced to postpone. We know that some of you have even had cancel your weddings due to COVID-19. Who could ever have imagined that this would happen? Even though ceremonies can now take place, the day is not how many couples imagine their day. I bet there will be lots of big parties to celebrate when restrictions are lifted.
GETTING HITCHED REGARDLESS
But then we’ve seen other couples decide to tie the knot regardless. All they want to do is to get married and be Husband and Wife, Husband and Husband or Wife and Wife. Are you one of those couples? If so, then we’d love to hear from you and hear all about your wedding day and how it compared to your previous plans! So get in touch by clicking here and tell us all! We’d love to do a feature blog on your day!
In the meantime, we are keeping your fingers crossed for our remaining Autumn 2020 shows. As always, we are taking bookings for our 2021 shows. Some of which are already half full! So if you want to get your wedding business out there and in front of hundreds of potential brides and grooms, then drop us an email.
Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine! It’s gonna be a scorcher this week!
